Make a 3d Printed Reloading Simulation | MP5

Chapter I: Intro

So why am I going to use rubber bands, but not spring. In fact, it’s just that I have too many rubber bands. In addition, rubber bands are also the most common gadget in our life and rubber bands are a very useful tool as well.

Fortunately, this time I did not amend the second time largely except the size of the magazine (PS: just reduced its size a little bit, about 0.25mm) from the 3d model to the real object. But this mini MP5 is not perfect. Beside the shape, which I adjust a little bit from the real MP5K, it’s possible that the hook of the bolt would snag the hook of the mag release and it results that the magazine falls from the gun’s body but actually this is a very small probability.

Chapter IV: difficulty and Outro

This project’s difficulty level: ★★☆

If we can put the 3d medal in a better place (can use my print setting ;), we can remove the support very easily and the hole doesn't need the support when we print those parts. And then we just sand those edges of rails and holes and it will be good.
