How to make a 3d Printed Kitchen Towel Holder | quick change

At first, this inspiration is from some videos about 3d printing on Instagram. Those gadgets are so interesting and of course also are so useful and amazing. Since I saw those works, I just thought it was possible to build a kitchen towel holder which also has the function of quick change.

This time I designed a rail and it can be a platform where we can change different modules in the future.

II. My Printing Setting:

file name: left arm & right arm 1

file name: left arm2 & right arm2

file name: left holder & right holder

file name: nut & screw

(This time I have used 8 nuts and screws)

file name: platform (rail)

file name: spacer X2

(This time I have used 2 spacer)

III. Difficult Point:

On the whole, this project is not really hard to make. But when I build this project still met some difficult points but generally those are very similar. Because those parts need to use support so when we take off the support we will see that there are many residue of the removed support. That results, for example the rail, the part is very hard to slide into the rail. The resolution is easy but need patience. You need to sand those residue out.

Here is the key points to be sanded:

the  joint of 2 rail

use wd40

the cylinder

the gap

all of holes
